We’ve been on a bit of a hiatus with our small business spotlights & what better way to resurface ourselves than to discuss one of the staples in the CLT brewery community. Free Range. With their 4th anniversary on the horizon, this farm inspired brew locale gives us everything we never knew we were looking for.
The beers themed after Jenny combined with the tried and true Cream of the Crop provide a wide range of flavors for even the pickiest of city slickers. The tractor outside and the flowers on every table make for a down home feel, with a continuous stream of bands, yoga, and local color that are never in short supply.
Their beer is rad on its own, but the collaborations to cultivate the local community are even better. Well known for their partnerships, Free Range boasts the artistry of Dustin Harbin, the agriculture knowledge of Chef’s Farmer, and the coffee from Charlotte based Pure Intentions. If supporting local businesses wasn’t enough, brothers Jeff and Jason encourage family and heritage in the community daily with events, their decor, and inclusivity in their location.
We have been obsessed with the beer, atmosphere, and people here for a long time (we’ve been too many times to count and celebrated all their anniversaries with them). But, we are hoping some of you folks will too. Check out their social media for details on their anniversary shindig this weekend, and in the meantime, “let your taste buds roam.”
