New beginnings and fresh ideas have swept the internet in a recent couple of weeks leading into what will make to be a warm and busy summer. In the wake of vacation season, new tactics on how to brand and market oneself have resurfaced for a fresh new set of entrepreneurs. At the end of last year, Sunny Lenarduzzi shared her success story on her YouTube channel about how to rise from a startup full of ideas to a seasoned businesswoman. As one who has branded herself as a consultant that promotes authenticity and theming, her video “How I Got Started: Boss 101” made for an interesting watch.
In her earlier videos and broadcasts, authenticity is what drove the media response to her, not the level of experience, or even being well known. After a series of ladders climbed and fallen, she made her way several channels later to the one we see today.
Like Sunny’s informational blurbs, we believe starting is the key to doing anything. Not starting well, starting with profit, or starting with guaranteed results. Just starting. There is no guarantee that things will work out how we want them to, or even at all.
In the midst of failure, we have realized that there is, indeed, adversity. Seeing Sunny’s video resurface reminded us that everyone starts somewhere. Although gearing up for the summertime means everyone is busier than usual, a gentle reminder that starting something, anything, rather than not starting anything at all, is beneficial.
It’s time to begin, y’all.
